Q: Can I buy Rat Bait since the new laws came in? 

A: Yes. From April 2016 Fruit Growers and Farmers can purchase professional size packs of Rodenticides from us if they have either a CRRU Approved Certificate or Farm Assurance membership. To gain the certification, please go to

Q. Do Agricare sell Pesticides or Fertilisers?

A. No, Agricare does not supply any chemicals such as Pesticides or Fertilisers.

Q. Can I purchase from Agricare if I don’t have a credit account?

A. Yes. Orders placed on this website will be processed on-line in the normal way with payment being taken by credit or debit card. Orders can also be placed over the phone by calling our sales office on 01304 842280. Orders placed in this way can be paid by card over the phone or a proforma can be emailed so a BACS payment can be arranged.

Q. What are your opening hours?

A. 7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday. We are closed on Weekends and Bank Holidays and also for 1 week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Q. What is your cut-off time for placing orders for same-day delivery?

A. To enable orders to be picked, packed, and loaded, in time for the van to leave promptly at 10.00, all orders should be placed by 9.30. Agricare cannot guarantee same day or next day delivery on all products.

Q. What is your relationship with Kirkland UK?

A. Kirkland was once our brand name for all the specialist machinery we supplied to UK Fruit Growers. In time sales of the Kirkland products grew, and for Kirkland to become a separate business, became a logical progression. The decision to operate Kirkland as a separate business from Agricare was purely a business decision based on careful analysis and recognised business practice. As both businesses operate within the UK Fruit growing industry there is often communications between us which are really for the mutual benefit of the whole industry. The Kirkland team and the Agricare team have, and will continue to, enjoy good relations both during and outside of business hours.

Q. How frequently do you deliver?

A. Agricare endeavour to deliver what customers need when they need them. Our vans go out to the local area every day, smaller deliveries further afield would be sent out on next day service by carrier with larger deliveries of palletised products or complete lorry loads being sent out by specialist hauliers. We have a fantastic warehouse/operations team that will process each order as efficiently as possible.

Q. Do you supply wearing parts?

A. The only wearing parts we now supply are blades for some Votex and Perfect mowers.

Q. How do I open a credit account?

A. We have a set of account application forms that would need to be completed and returned to our accounts department. Applications will be processed immediately which can take a couple of hours to a couple of days depending on how much information is available about your company. Please ‘click here to apply for a Credit Account’. Fill in the on-line account application form and then click send. We will contact you once the account has been authorised.

Q. Can I return products that I don’t want anymore?

A. Yes. Products returned within 90 days of purchase and in a resalable condition will be considered for credit. It may be necessary to charge a 15% handling/re-stocking charge depending on the quantity, value, size, etc of the product.

Q. Will I be charged shipping?

A. Deliveries within Kent would generally be free of charge. Deliveries outside of Kent would attract a delivery charge. This would be calculated by size and/or weight and passed on at cost. This website will calculate carriage on most products but there are some products that are bulky and/or heavy that will require special delivery arrangements. Delivery costs for these products will be calculated and we will make contact with you to discuss.

Q. Why are some products not available to purchase on-line?

A. Most products are available to purchase on-line but there are a handful of products that are not. These products require special attention in some way and it is therefore necessary to contact our sales office to discuss with one of our sales persons. Please don’t be put off by this as we are always keen to speak to customers whatever their requirements may be.
